Contract Killer: Zombies is an FPS styled zombie shooter for iOS devices and is thoroughly entertaining. You get a large selection of weapons to choose from including pistols, shotguns, machine and sub machine guns, grenade launchers and best of all, mini guns.

Now if you have played an FPS game on an iOS device you will know that FPS games were not designed for touch screens as it can be quite tricky getting to grips with moving the camera around to aim and also pressing a shoot button to fire at an enemy that is potentially covered up by your fingers. Putting this aside this game is great fun to play for short durations and also long durations as I have found my self playing for half an hour quite happily.

The graphics aren’t to shabby as well, zombies look OK especially for an iOS device and also the levels are varied and look reasonably good with styles of levels varying from protect the survivor to kill all of the zombies in sight!

Overall this game is worth downloading if you like this style of game and can cope with playing an FPS on a touch screen device. It is also free which is another reason to download this app.

With the latest release of iOS5, apple bring more great features with it including iMessage, the new notification centre, reminder and news stand and many more additions and updated versions of currently used apps from previous iOS versions. Also there is the addition of pc free, which free’s your iOS device from your pc giving you the ability to update your phone with nothing but your iOS device.

iMessage is a great idea and i was realy looking forward to it but it doesn’t have much use to people on a contract with an unlimited supply of text messages. It can however be used to send messages between other iOS5 devices like the iPod and iPad and iPhone so is most definitely great for iPad and iPod users.
