AppFlow

Cropping images is a really common task for many of us, but how do you do it?  Photoshop?  iWork?  (I know on Windows I always used to use PowerPoint to crop!)

You can actually crop images really easily in preview – That nifty little program included with OS X that keeps surprising us!  Here’s how:

Open the image you want to crop in preview.

Image that needs cropping

Select it.

Selected

And hit ⌘-K.  It’s that simple!

Extension

You can even select using an ellipse or the lasso before hitting ⌘-K, making some of those more complex crops even easier.  Press the little arrow next to the select button.
